this is absolutely the most beautiful thing i have ever heard of in my life.
people who self harm on this website have created a project where they draw a butterfly on the area they normally cut/burn/etc. in sharpie so they don’t harm themselves. and when the pen finally washes off, it feels like a big accomplishment to not cut there for however long the pen stayed on.
